Three Day Camp for Indigenous Youth at Saint Thomas University

Posted: April 14, 2023

From May 4-6th, St. Thomas University will be hosting a free, three-day camp exclusively for Indigenous Youth in New Brunswick.

Our goal is to familiarize Indigenous youth with post-secondary options and what campus life looks like.

During the camp, students will have a chance to explore what it’s like to be a university student by staying in a STU residence, dining at the campus meal hall, and learning from award-winning professors, while also taking part in fun activities, engaging in Wabanaki cultural teachings, and becoming familiar with Fredericton.

We invite you to share this invitation and information package (attached) for the camp with any of your students currently in grades 10,11, and 12. Students can register for the camp HERE

The deadline for registration has been extended to 11:59pm on April 21st, and if you or any students have questions about the camp, please feel free to reach out to Kamryn Saulis, our Indigenous Student Services Coordinator, at ksaulis@stu.ca
