A Venn Diagram is a graphic organizer used to compare and contrast two or more items.  To use a venn diagram, identify what two things you will be comparing by labeling the top of each circle.  The ways the items are the same is written in the section where the circles overlap.  The ways in which the items are different are written in each separate section of their own circle.
