DRHS graduation will take place on June 17th, 2020. Please see the document titled "District message on graduations" for more explanation on what the provincial guidelines are. The time of graduation is not determined yet because this will depend on the format of our ceremony. More information will be shared with you as the date approaches.
Students entering grade 11 or 12 in September 2020 must register for their courses now. This will be done online starting May 15th to May 22nd. You have one week to do this. You can find instructions on how to register in the documents section of this webpage. You need your regular student login information to begin. All students have been assgined an appointment to pick up the contents of their locker. Staff are in the process of calling homes to inform students of the appointment time. Pick-up days are May 5-6-7th (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). Textbooks and library books that are not being used at home should be returned at the same time. We are all looking foreward to seeing your faces.
An explanation of post-secondary requirements from the institutions of New Brunswick has been placed in the document section of this website. All 2020 graduates going to a post-secondary institution in NB should read through the document. Contact information is also included for you to contact them for specific questions related to your program of study.
Grade 11 and 12 students have the option to have their courses count as a credit or have their course indicated as enrolled on the student transcript. Both ways count toward graduation. There is a Q&A document on this site for more details. Here is the major difference between the 2:
