The Dalhousie Regional High School carpentry students are in the process of building a shed to be sold for the cost of material plus the wear and tear of the equipment only (free labour!). This is a sweet deal since labour doesn't come cheap. Everything meets required safety standards. We have all the receipts to show the cost of material (you will not be ripped off).
HIgh School end of semester one assessments will be taking place the week of January 21st, 2019. Students will write assessments on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Tuesday and Thursday are study days and grade 9-12 students have no classes.

DRHS has partnered up with NBACL, NB Association for Community Living to support both the school and community for the second year in a row. This organization will give money to the school for all clothing items donated. In return, this group sells the clothes to support disabled children and adults thorughout their lives. You can find out more about this organization at http://nbacl.nb.ca/. Last year this event was a very successful fundraiser for the school and we hope to have equal if not better success this year.
