Hi everyone, I hope you had a great restful weekend with your family and of course, lots of fun completing activities from last week’s Bingo Card. This week there are new activities, but the process is the same.  Select at least 5 activities to do this week. You can select them from one row to try and get a bingo, or select 5 that peak your interest from anywhere on the card.  Hope you have fun.  Please stay safe and stay positive : )

Hi everyone, hope everyone is still well and remaining as positive and healthy as possible. I just wanted to add a little note explaining what I posted this week for you to check out if you were interested. I posted the Bingo Card 5 (weekly assignment), where you will find all kinds of cool activities that you can try out. I also added assignments in our Microsoft Team group for my French Immersion class of 6-7. Here you will be able to find two videos where we will be searching for similarities, a journal entry as well as a discussion board. If you have not joined yet, I posted all the steps to follow to join this team in the note tab, here on my teacher page.

I have also assigned new lessons in Khan Academy. If you haven’t joined you can still join, the steps to follow are posted here on my teacher page as well. There are still a variety of websites that you could check out as well, go see the web links tab.

Remember all these activities are optional, they are meant to give you a variety of options. I will keep searching for challenging activities and resources, that I could post in the following weeks. Thanks again for your patience through all of this. I hope you have a wonderful week. Take care and have fun!

Please do not hesitate to give me feedback, or send me questions by email, I will do my best to get back to you as soon as I can. michelle.arsenault@nbed.nb.ca

Logic puzzles (logic grid)

These logic puzzles are also known as “logic grids puzzles”. You will be given clues, and with these, you will have to solve the one and only solution, by eliminating options, as you go through these clues. (Explanations and tips are found on the site) If you’re anything like me, you will find yourself rereading the clues often, and quickly become a fan of to these types of puzzles. You will be developing strategies and critical thinking while you work out these puzzles. Again, many different levels of difficulty on this site and you can keep creating new puzzles daily from what I understood. You simply must click on start a new puzzle. Have fun : )

Hi everyone, hope everyone is still well and remaining as positive and healthy as possible. I just wanted to add a little note explaining what I posted this week for you to check out if you were interested. I posted the third Bingo Card 3 (weekly assignment), where you will find all kinds of cool activities that you can try out. I also focused on creating a Microsoft Team for my French Immersion class of 6-7. Here you will be able to find reading assignments, a journal entry as well as a discussion board. I posted all the steps to follow to join this team in the note tab, here on my teacher page.

I have also assigned new lessons in Khan Academy. If you haven’t joined you can still join, the steps to follow are posted here on my teacher page on my last week’s posts. There are still a variety of sites that you could check out as well, go see the web links tab.

I have created a class using Microsoft Teams. I am asking students to go https://www.office.com and log in using their school log in id and password. The site works better if students access it using Google Chrome.  Once there, they are to select the Teams app and click on French Immersion group 6-7. This way we will be able to share our work and collaborate in a discussion board.

Each week, I will upload a reading assignment in French for students to complete. I will also put a discussion question, based on the article, for students to answer (in our discussion board). Please remember that your comments should be respectful, school appropriate and detailed. I will also add a writing prompt that you could complete as a journal entry. Please remember, that these activities are optional, the main goal is to keep you motivated and give you different options. The last thing that I would want to do is overwhelm anyone. I hope that everyone is well and remaining strong, kind and positive through all of this. Let’s have fun with these activities and keep learning together as a team.
