Cette semaine vous allez écoutez la radio en francais ou une émission à la télévision/ordinateur pour 30 minutes. Ensuite, tu vas écrire un résumé de ce que tu as entendu. Finalement, partage ce que tu as écouté avec quelqu'un dans ta famille qui peut comprendre le francais, soit face à face ou au telephone.

Good morning,
This course is now being offered as a credit. Please ensure you have given priority to post-secondary "pre-requisite" courses as you are only allowed to take 3 courses as a credit. Students who wish to continue as they were will not be penalized, they will receive "enrolled" on their report cards and will still advance to either grade 12 or post-secondary if they were already on track to do so.
If you wish to receive credit for Hospitality & Tourism 110 please email me at julie.beckingham@nbed.nb.ca to let me know. Once I have a list of students I will give you more information as to how you will proceed. More work will be required for these students and they will have to submit assginments to me through email so that I may assess them to then decide if they meet enough of the core curriculum outcomes for the course to receive credit.

Hello everyone,
This week you will be making a "packing list" for a trip to a tropical (hot) destination.
You will list all of the items you will need including such things as: clothin, hygiene items, medication, money (currency), documentation needed, first aid items, etc.
Take it further: If you would like to take it further you can include the destination, how many people going on the trip, price, arrival and departure times, entertainment and sites to see during your trip, transportation, accommodations.

Hi Class!
For this week's home learning assignment I would like you to register for the course "Hospitality and Tourism 110 Dalhousie 2019-20 S2" that I set up online. I have attached the instructions that you have to follow in order to do so.
Once I have approved your registration and you gain access to the course, click on "Contents" then "Module 3: Marketing". Read the section titled "New Experience Project: Introduction". Be sure to check out the "marketing plan example". Try out the project if you are up for a challenge or think about what kind of business you would start in your community and write down your ideas.

Hi class!!
For this week's at home learning I would like you to read through the powerpoint titled "Mesopotamia Part 2".
Jot down the importants facts from each section.
** If you have access to a printer it would be a good idea to print these powerpoints and that way you could highlight important information and take notes directly on your copy. Do NOT stress if you don't have a printer! :)
