Ms. K. Harquail

Welcome to our Site. You will find your Home learning materials in the documents section. We miss you all. Stay Safe and Stay Positive.

Hi Everyone,  Hope you had a great week!  Can you believe it's already May? I hope you are enjoying the activities we are putting up and improving your skills.  I wish I could do some of the activities with you guys and thank those who are participating in the discussions and sending me some of their work.  As with the previous cards, you can do as many of the activities as you want; but we ask that you try to do at least 5. You can get a bingo by doing 5 in the same row or pick any 5 squres that interest you.  Also remember to go to  our online classroom in the teams app of office.com and complete this week's reading assignment. I miss you all very much.  Please stay safe and stay positive.  If you run into any problems, please contact me at krista.harquail@nbed.nb.ca  May the 4th be with you. :-)

 * Some of the links were missing from Column B.  I fixed it and uploaded the bingo card again. Sorry for the inconvenience.

HI Everyone,   using Microsoft Teams I have created an online class. I am asking students to go https://www.office.com and log in using their school log in id and password. The site works better if students access it using Google Chrome.  Once there, they are to select the Teams app and click on their English class. This way we will be able to share our ideas in a discussion board.

Each week, I will upload a reading assignment for students to complete. I will also put a discussion question, based on the article, for students to answer (in our discussion board). Please remember that your comments should be respectful, school appropriate and detailed.  Please remember, that these reading material and discussions are optional.  The main goal is to provide you with reading material, as you learn from home motivated and give you different options. I hope that everyone is doing ok, is safe, and staying positive through all of this. I hope you are having fun with the activities and  we will continue to learn together as a team.   :-)

Hi Everyone,  I hope you had a great week / weekend and are having fun doing the bingo card activities. As with the last two weeks, you can do as many of the activities as you want; but we ask that you try to do at least 5. You can get a bingo by doing 5 in the same row or pick any 5 squres that interest you.  I miss you all very much.  Please stay safe and stay positive.
