September 3rd is an orientation day for all grade 6 and grade 9 students. International students and any newcomers are also welcome. There are no regular classes this day. The focus is for new students to transition smoothly into middle school and/or high school.

The Dalhousie Regional High School carpentry students are in the process of building a shed to be sold for the cost of material plus the wear and tear of the equipment only (free labour!). This is a sweet deal since labour doesn't come cheap. Everything meets required safety standards. We have all the receipts to show the cost of material (you will not be ripped off).

HIgh School end of semester one assessments will be taking place the week of January 21st, 2019. Students will write assessments on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Tuesday and Thursday are study days and grade 9-12 students have no classes.

Don't miss this experience of a lifetime! May 30th -June 8th 2019. See attachement below for more details of the tour itinerary. It begins in Amsterdam and ends in Paris! Don't let the cost scare you. It can be paid by monthly installements and there will be fundraising opportunities. One student from each school will be sponsored by Anglophone School Distrcit North!
