Hi everyone!

Well...we made it! This is your last week of home learning. I cannot believe how fast this has gone by. As always, I hope you are all well and getting outdoors and enjoying the fresh air.

I'm attaching the "End of Year" activity to continue on from last week. Keep doing Dreambox too!

*Reminder, we will have our last Messenger chat this Wednesday at 1:15. Looking forward to chatting with you again!

Week of June 1, 2020

Hi,

I was so happy to see your faces last week. I'd like to do another chat this week on Wednesday at 1:00. If you were not able to join us last week, I'm hoping you can this week.  

Here is your work for the next few weeks. It's a good time to reflect on everything that is going on in the world right now. I hope that you take some time to work on this. Continue with Dreambox and I cannot wait to chat on Wednesday!  Stay safe!

Week of May 25th, 2020

Hi everyone!

As always, I hope you are doing well and staying healthy. It's going to be a great week to get outdoors and enjoy the beautiful weather!

I'd like to try to get a FB chat going with you this Wednesday at 1:00. I have a group made up with some of you and have contacted most parents to let them know. If you don't have a FB account, can you ask your parents if you can use theirs (one of them) to chat with the class this week? Send an inbox to my FB account (Colette Ryan) so I know what account to add for the chat. I'm looking forward to seeing your faces and hearing about how you are all doing.

Hi everyone! Here are a few activites that you can work on this week. There are many options for you and should keep you busy for the week. Continue with Dreambox and remember to read everyday and try to get some fresh air everyday. 

It was nice to chat with you last week, if you'd rather reach out by text, my number is 684-2474. I hope you are all well and are safe! I miss seeing you guys and having our chats.

Hi everyone! 

Here are some ideas and suggestions for this weeks home learning. Browse through the Canadian Geographic site and learn something new about our beautiful country.

The literacy attachment has many fun activities. Go ahead and try some from other grade levels. There's a great acrostic poem idea for Mother's Day that would be a nice surprise for Mom!

*Ivy and Ivan update...I took them home and they are healthy and growing like crazy! I miss you all and I hope that you are all staying safe and healthy. Remember to read for 30 minutes everyday and get outside and enjoy the nice weather!

Hi everyone! Continue with your Time Capsule from last week for Language Arts this week. Also I hope you have been taking advantage of the free 90 day trial with Dreambox.
