The student must be a resident of the Town Of Dalhousie.

The DRHS Scholarship committee will select or draw the name of the recepient.

There is no application required this year. All names will be automatically submitted.

Although the student loan information sessions in New Brunswick high schools have been cancelled, Student Aid posted the presentation slides on the website:

Carefully review the criteria and stipulations for this scholarship (see attachment).

Submit your application with attached documents to the guidance counselor on or before September 30, 2020.        Do NOT mail your application to AV Group NB Inc./ Atholville Mill.

One scholarship is available for each New Brunswick high school in the year for which it was granted.

ELIGIBILITY: New Brunswick high school graduate students accepted (or on a waiting list) in the current year at any campus of the New Brunswick Community College (NBCC), the Collège communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick (CCNB) or the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design are eligible.

After entering their information, they need to do a “Save As”  unto their computer (suggestion: ask them to add their name and date to the filename, for example 2020-04-23-NBPCES-BEPACPNB-ARSENEAULT,BERTHE.pdf) and forward it to for selection purposes.

Scholarship Value: $1000.00

Submit application and supporting documents to by May 27th.

Each candidate must:

be a high school graduate in the year of application;

• be domiciled in New Brunswick; • be an exceptional student; • be interested in preparing for a career in business; • complete the Official Application Form; • submit a letter indicating personal career aspirations. Attached should be lists of activities including summer and part-time work, as well as other extra-curricular activities in which the applicant has been involved; • ensure the school principal completes and submits the Principal’s Confidential Report Form and a copy of high school records to date. • begin studies in the Fall of the year of application in a New Brunswick, Nova Scotia or Prince Edward Island University.

Priority given to applicants who are related to a past or present member of the St. John Bosco Catholic Woman's League.

All graduates continuing their education may apply.
